More about Los Krokodillos

The Los Krokodillos sound comes from an eclectic mix of personalities and influences, born of a common love for the jazz of 1920's New Orleans. Fusing foot-tapping tempos, in-your-face energy and musical craftmanship, the music of Los Krokodillos inspires and delights audiences from young to old with their mixture of tunes from the 20's to the 80's.

With appearances at major festivals throughout Europe and Australia, three CD recordings, and now the subject of a full-length feature documentary, Los Krokodillos have established themselves as one of the hottest trad jazz groups around with their own flair and inimitable style.

Founded by banjo player Mikha Violin and now based in Barcelona, the international line-up of the band includes players from Australia, England, Japan and Russia as well as Spain.
